About Me

Protik Sikdar
Campus Ambassador
I am a passionate and detail-oriented Sociology student at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, passionate about social research, data collection, and digital design. With hands-on experience in conducting surveys, field data collection, and focus group discussions, I have developed strong analytical and research skills. I am proficient in tools like SPSS, and MS Office, which allow me to analyze data and derive meaningful insights for research projects.
I have worked as an Enumerator and Research Facilitator with organizations such as Bangladesh Institute of Innovative Health Research (BIIHR BD), Centre for Qualitative Research (CQR), and World Vision Bangladesh. My work has focused on child safety, street children, and marginalized communities, where I have collected field data, administered structured questionnaires, and ensured data accuracy for policy recommendations.
Beyond research, I have a strong interest in web and graphic design, with a foundational knowledge of HTML and digital content creation. My leadership abilities are reflected in my roles as a Research Ambassador at Uthshargo Foundation and a Student Ambassador at CQR, where I have actively contributed to research initiatives and community engagement.
Throughout my academic journey, I have achieved top placements in national science competitions and have been an active member of the Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS). Additionally, I am committed to social causes, regularly donating blood and participating in voluntary activities to support my community.
I believe in the power of research to create positive change. My goal is to leverage my expertise in data collection, research methodology, and policy analysis to contribute to social development projects that make a real impact. I am always eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to research-driven solutions for societal challenges.
